Devin Khoury Kilgore

Devin grew up competing in all styles dance, was a member of John Carroll Catholic High School Dance Team & also danced in college as a member of the dance team at the University of Alabama. At 18, Devin was asked to choreograph, perform and MC Pure Fashion with renown songwriter/composer David Foster, Anita Whitaker, Janelle & Rebecca Saint James. After graduating college, she joined the teaching staff at NS Dance Studio and also became a choreographer/coach for the dance teams at John Carroll Catholic High School. In 2013 she started their first middle school dance program & won the schools first national championship title win. Devin brought home numerous state and national wins, including another national championship title in 2017. She was recognized by the State of Alabama for leading the first team in the states history to win a national championship title and was recognized in front of the Birmingham City Council for excellence in leadership. Devin currently runs a choreography business, Dance By Design Team, with two of her lifelong friends creating award winning routines for teams across the country. She is sought after by many young dancers for her creative choreography/staging and for her abilities to train/instruct dancers to fulfill their dreams.

Katie loves the entire process of creating a routine, but is happiest when she is coaching dancers to break though the barriers they so often place on themselves. Her training spanned several years at several studios, but she officially fell most in love with dance team during her high school and college dancing years. She competed in the dance team world first with John Carroll Catholic High School, and then with the University of South Alabama, before later coaching at both schools. She has over ten years of coaching and teaching experience, and in 2017 was named a finalist for a national high school coaching award with the Positive Coaching Alliance. Her most cherished moments are when she helped coach both her high school and college alma maters to a third place ranking at Nationals.

Lori was trained in Birmingham, AL in all areas of dance and danced competitively with her studio and high school. In 2006, Lori began assistant coaching at her alma mater and teaching dance at her home dance studio. In 2010, Lori took over the dance program at John Carroll Catholic High School as the Varsity head coach and started a middle school feeder program in 2011. Under Lori’s direction at John Carroll, the middle school program achieved 2 National Championships. The Nationally competitive Varsity and Junior Varsity teams were ranked as high as 2nd place with multiple other National placements and Alabama State Championships every year from 2010 - 2017. Lori is currently choreographing for teams and individuals, and training individuals around the country. She has worked with college teams and trained several individuals who have gone on to dance competitively in middle school, high school and college. Additionally, she is a regional and national judge for Universal Dance Association.. Lori loves the process of helping an individual or team from the moment they begin to the moment they audition or perform onstage. Her attention to detail makes her choreography and teaching style effective with teams and individuals alike.
